Programme Overview
The Diploma of Chemical Engineering Technology is a comprehensive 2.5-year programme (comprising 4 main semesters and 2 short semesters) specifically designed to address Malaysia's urgent demand for high-skilled technical talent under the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 and the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR). With a rigorous curriculum totalling 94 credits; including core modules in thermodynamics, mass transfer, and plant operations, the programme is fully recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC), ensuring graduates meet the professional standards required for Malaysia’s shift toward high-value manufacturing and green economy initiatives. By training students to operate complex industrial systems and implement sustainable chemistry practices, we prepare you for critical roles as Process, Production, or Engineering Technicians in the booming semiconductor, petrochemical, and oleochemical sectors.
