Programme Overview

The goal of this program is to produce students who are knowledgeable and able to manage business activities internationally. This is due to Malaysia's increasingly active and significant involvement in international business, which requires many individuals with knowledge and confidence in international business to compete globally. Knowledge and skills on global issues as well as knowledge on international business management are essential preparations to face the globally competitive business world. The graduates produced from this program have a broad and specific knowledge of activities in international business management, both in Malaysia and internationally. Graduates also have the ability to combine and apply the knowledge and skills learned, be skilled, can be independent and able to solve problems creatively and logically in addition to having a noble and admirable nature. Graduates are also exposed to knowledge of the culture, language, technology, international law, political systems, geography, and socio-economics of the global community. In addition, the program also aims to attract international students to pursue their studies in Malaysia in the field of international business management in line with the government's aspiration to make Malaysia a hub for world-class higher education (world class education). The main careers for the graduates of this program are as international business operations manager, import and export manager, international logistics operations manager, international finance, investment and banking manager, international human resource manager and international marketing manager. Graduates will also be able to provide advisory services in the areas of research and development of the international business industry, trade and investment transactions to relevant government agencies, multinational companies, small and medium industries and local and international educational institutions.
