Programme Overview

The programme aims to produce competent and ethical graduates in the field of Accounting, equipped with strong technical knowledge, professional values and practical industry-driven skills. The curriculum emphasizes mastery of financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, auditing, finance and business-related subjects while integrating digital skills, data analytics and sustainability reporting. Learning and training are delivered through a blended approach that combines classroom teaching, case studies, simulation and Work-Based Learning (WBL). Students undergo one full year of structured industrial training enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life practices in accounting firms, corporations, and public sector organizations. This ensures that graduates are workplace-ready and aligned with professional competency requirements. The programme adopts the ‘AaDab© Infused Curriculum under Halatuju 4 (HT4) instilling integrity, professionalism and accountability in graduates. It also aligns with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Competency Framework and prepares students for professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia, and MICPA. Graduates will be able to contribute to the accounting profession, business community and society with a strong foundation in technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, leadership and ethical values.
