Programme Overview
This programme is offered with the aim to produce skilled and efficient graduates in designing hardware and software focusing in the field of embedded systems and computer systems. It is in line with the rapid growth of the computer hardware and software industry in Malaysia. By embedding practical/application in teaching method, graduates will have the advantages of up-to-date software and hardware knowledge. Equipped with these knowledge, graduates with will have high confidence to adapt in either industrial or R&D sector.
Core Skills Developed
Strong foundation in both computer hardware and software. Core competencies in digital electronics, computer architecture, embedded systems, microprocessors and microcontrollers, programming, algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, cybersecurity, database systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, and software engineering. Practical skills in electronic circuit design, FPGA design, sensor interfacing, real-time systems, signal processing, and hardware-software co-design.
