Programme Overview

This program is designed with the aim to produce professional workers with foundation knowledge and skillful engineers particularly in mechatronic engineering field. Graduates are also expected to have high working professionalism. Hence, the curriculum is designed to provide the students to able to analyze, design, handling and maintaining electrical and electronic devices, mechanicals, computer programming and software and information technology. Aside from core engineering courses, the students are also exposed with soft skills such as ethics, management, entrepreneurship, communication and thinking skills. In addition, it is also compulsory for the students to attend to industrial training which aim to equip them with technical experience and knowledge from the industries. Mechatronic engineering graduates have broad career prospects in various private companies, industries, government agencies and its statutory bodies. Its covers wide-ranging fields such as engineering, manufacturing, research, design, analysis, development, testing and measurements and many more.
