Programme Overview
This program was introduced to ensure that Malaysia continues to be competitive in the semiconductor industry. Born graduates can contribute as local talent with the knowledge and skills to apply the theories learned in the fields of electronics; design and fabrication of integrated circuits (ICs), with a specialization in designing microelectronic systems. Job opportunities in this field are also wide open especially in several multi-national companies including Intel, Infineon, Silterra, Motorola, MIMOS, Flex, Agilent Technologies and Broadcom Inc. This program is convincing to meet the needs of the professional workforce in line with the development of the National Industrial Master Plan (Pelan Induk Perindustrian Negara).
