This program aims to produce manpower at the professional level who are skilled and have strong knowledge in the field of Environmental Engineering. The program covers the element of civil and chemical engineering, environmental laws, safety and health, environmental and project management.

Design and operate water supply, wastewater treatment, and solid waste management systems, Apply engineering principles to environmental pollution prevention, control, and remediation, Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and environmental risk assessments, Analyse environmental data using engineering software, modelling tools, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Design sustainable environmental infrastructure in accordance with engineering standards and regulations, Perform laboratory testing, field investigations, environmental monitoring, and data interpretation, Integrate environmental legislation, occupational safety and health (OSH), and engineering ethics into professional practice, Plan, manage, and evaluate engineering projects while considering economic, environmental, and social sustainability, Communicate technical information effectively and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, Apply innovation, digital technologies, and sustainable engineering practices to solve real-world environmental problems.

Environmental Engineering Laboratory – Water and wastewater quality analysis, treatment process experiments, and environmental chemistry, Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics Laboratory – Open channel flow, pipe network analysis, pumps, and hydraulic modelling experiments, Geotechnical and Soil Laboratory – Soil classification, permeability, compaction, and foundation-related testing, Structural Engineering Laboratory – Testing of construction materials and structural components relevant to environmental infrastructure, Environmental Microbiology Laboratory – Microbial analysis for water quality, wastewater treatment, and environmental health, Highway and Traffic Laboratory – Testing and evaluation of pavement materials, asphalt and concrete properties, aggregate quality, traffic engineering studies, transportation planning, and road safety analysis to support the design and maintenance of sustainable transportation infrastructure, GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory – Spatial analysis, environmental mapping, watershed analysis, and satellite image processing, Computer-Aided Engineering Laboratory equipped with industry-standard software such as (AutoCAD and Civil 3D, EPANET (Water Distribution Systems), QGIS, MATLAB and Python for engineering computation and data analysis), Surveying Equipment including Total Stations, GNSS/GPS receivers, UAV (drone) systems, and environmental monitoring instruments.
